Description
Sanolyte® is an active ingredient combination that is used very successfully for the recovery of calves affected by diarrhoea.
Sanolyte® consists of electrolytes, sodium bicarbonate, and glucose, which quickly compensate for the loss of water, electrolytes, and energy during diarrhoeal illness, leading to rapid recovery of the calves:
- Highly digestible glucose serves as a fast-available energy source.
- Electrolytes restore the balance of lost minerals.
- Sodium bicarbonate raises the lowered blood pH again, helping to improve the calf’s appetite.
