Description
- Immunoglobulins (IgG1, IgG2, IgM, IgA) from the colostrum of the first milking strengthen the calves’ resistance and support the health of the gut and lungs.
- Special antibodies improve the calf’s immune response to diarrhea and respiratory diseases caused by E.coli, rota- and coronaviruses, clostridia, and parainfluenza.
- Vitamins E, C, and beta-carotene increase immune defense and promote calf health.
- Grape sugar provides the calf with quickly available energy after birth.
- High levels of probiotics stimulate the intestinal flora and help displace harmful germs from the digestive tract.

Cotosan Plus® mixed into 1 to 2 liters of colostrum within the first hours after birth ensures your success by guaranteeing the minimum antibody threshold in the blood of your calves. This significantly reduces possible days of diarrhea and coughing.
For colostrum supplementation, stir 1 sachet (50 g) of Cotosan Plus intensively into about 1 liter of colostrum.
As a colostrum substitute, completely dissolve 2 sachets (2 x 50 g) in 1 liter of water warmed to about 30°C.
This supplementary feed may only be fed to calves up to 50 g per animal per day until the second day of life due to the higher content of additives compared to complete feed.
